On his site, he held a contest in which people could vote for his new middle name - the choices were between Macaulay Culkin, Kieran, TheMcRibIsBack, Publicity Stunt, and Shark Week. Macaulay and Brenda chose this name as a tribute to his older sister, Dakota, who tragically died in 2008 after being hit by a car.
