Hollywood stars Paul Rudd and Jack Black film reboot of 90s cult classic film Anaconda in Queensland

Hollywood stars Jack Black and Paul Rudd are currently in Queensland filming a reboot of the 1997 horror movie Anaconda.

Directed by US filmmaker Tom Gormican, the Anaconda reboot is produced by Sony and received funding from the state government via Screen Queensland's Production Attraction Strategy. The original horror-thriller was a box office success, even though it failed to impress critics, and costarred Owen Wilson, Eric Stoltz, Ice Cube and Jon Voight. It even led to a franchise which spawned several sequels, including a 2004 theatrical installment with Morris Chestnut, and several straight-to-video editions that starred the likes of David Hasselhoff and Robert Englund.
