Hollywood megastar goes incognito as she lands in Sydney to film new Netflix thriller with co-star Taron Egerton
Hollywood stars Charlize Theron and Taron Egerton were spotted touching down in Sydney on Sunday as production gears up for their upcoming Netflix thriller, Apex.
On the career front, Theron is rumored to be playing the enchantress Circe in Christopher Nolan's big-screen adaptation of Homer's The Odyssey, which is expected to start shooting early this year. Zendaya, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson and Lupita Nyong'o are also slated to star in the Universal Pictures flick hitting IMAX theaters on July 17, 2026. It's been nearly two years since the Emmy nominee wrapped her role as the oldest immortal warrior Andromache 'Andy' of Scythia in Victoria Mahoney's superhero sequel The Old Guard 2, and Netflix still hasn't announced a release date.
