In an exclusive chat with OK!, actress Nikki Sanderson has spilled the beans on her speculated departure from Hollyoaks after over a decade of portraying the tenacious yet tormented Maxine Minniver. The 40 year old star, who hails from Blackpool, confessed that she's taking the plunge without a new gig in sight but wouldn't rule out a return to the iconic cobbles of Coronation Street if the chance presented itself. Though it was 'hard' leaving Hollyoaks after so long, Nkki's excited for the future (Image: OK!/James Rudland)She says: "Now you have show reels and self tapes, but I never had to do that as you were just in a room with a casting director," adding, "It's all about the digital CV, whereas before you had the Spotlight catalogue which was like a Yellow Pages for actors!
