Hollyoaks plunged into crisis as 'huge star quits soap amid massive cast cull'
Following producers on Hollyoaks massively reducing the number of cast members, it has now been revealed that actress Emma Rigby has resigned less than a year after her return to the soap
Actress Emma Rigby, who originally appeared in Hollyoaks as Hannah Ashworth from 2005 to 2010, has resigned from the soap following her high profile return last year. Jonas Khan (who played Zain), Ross Adams (Scott), Jamie Lomas (Warren) and Lily Best (Lizzie) have also departed the series. Over the show’s three decades, previous cast members have gone on to other high profile roles including James Corden, Will Mellor, Ten Pound Poms star Warren Brown, and The Bay’s Barry Sloane.
