Hollyoaks legend QUITS hit Channel 4 soap after major budget and episode cuts leaves 135 staff-members out of work: 'It was the right time to move on'
A Hollyoaks legend has become the first big name to quit the soap following Channel 4's major shake up.
A source told The Sun: 'Jamie has been at the centre of some of the soap’s biggest storylines and has been back in Hollyoaks now for nearly eight years which is a long time. In July Jamie revealed that he was engaged to Jess Bell after two years together and the couple announced on Valentine's Day that they are expecting their first child together Posting a black and white picture of them together, the soap star wrote: 'Sometimes in life you win the lottery' while she shared an equally loved-up shot of them together on her own personal feed.
