Holly Willoughby tipped to host Blind Date reboot with husband producing - 'She's a shoo-in'
Blind Date could be set for a comeback with This Morning's Holly Willoughgby rumoured to be hosting, particularly with her producer husband Dan Baldwin at the helm
Speaking on BBC Radio 4 on Thursday 4th April, Dan revealed that producers are "always coming up with new ways of bringing back a show". While Dan suggested Strictly Come Dancing star Claudia Winkleman for the role, Good Morning Britain's entertainment reporter Richard Arnold speculated that it might be Holly Willoughby who steps into the shoes of the legendary Cilla Black. Back in 2013, when co-host Phillip Schofield hinted at Cilla making a comeback for the series, she admitted she wouldn't want to commit full-time.
