Holly Willoughby kidnap trial latest as Gavin Plumb's chilling voicemails are heard in court

, who harboured a two-year fantasy about abducting Holly Willoughby, insisted he "wanted the real thing", Chelmsford Crown Court was told. The 37 year old security guard from a shopping centre faces allegations of plotting a "sexually motivated" murder and inciting to kidnap the ex-This Morning host last October.

Prosecutor Alison Morgan KC painted a chilling picture in court today, detailing the "dark depravity" of the man accused of plotting against the ITV star, reports the Mirror. In a shocking revelation, the court heard that Gavin Plumb, with his distinct Essex accent, chillingly detailed his plan: "We're then going to force her to make a video that she came with us under her own free will... so that covers us." Previously convicted for assaulting two teenage girls, Gavin had also boasted images of fake firearms and a video showcasing his terrifying "kit", which included shackles, a ball gag, rope, and handcuffs, all neatly displayed on his bed.
