Hoda Kotb Gives Update on Daughter Hope's Health After Moving to the Suburbs: 'We're Seeing Great Differences' (Exclusive)

Hoda Kotb is a mom to daughters Hope, 5, and Haley, 7. The news anchor opened up to PEOPLE about her younger daughter's medical status.

In the last six months, the mom of two says, “ things have stabilized,” and moved Hope and big sister Haley, 7, out of New York City and into Westchester. When talking to PEOPLE again in August, Kotb shared her reasoning for the big move, saying, "I want my kids to feel grass on their feet, and play in the yard, and ride bikes down the street, and run up and down the stairs." "My broadcast career has been beyond meaningful, a new decade of my life lies ahead, and now my daughters and my mom need and deserve a bigger slice of my time pie," she explained in a letter to staff of the NBC morning show, shared Thursday, Sept. 26.
