The British actor, 34, found fame on the soap opera aged just 16, playing Tamwar Masood from 2007 to 2016, when he was written out when he ran off with his girlfriend Nancy Carter.
Himesh has just starred The Assessment, a sci-fi climate thriller which features Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Olsen, as well as playing a character in satirical comedy television series The Franchise. Netflix's disaster comedy movie sees two low-level astronomers - Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence) - go on a media tour to warn mankind of a comet that will destroy Earth. In addition to DiCaprio and Lawrence, the film stars Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Cate Blanchett, Kid Cudi, Tyler Perry, Ariana Grande and Timothee Chalamet.
