Hilary Swank to Be Honored at Colleagues Spring Luncheon for Work With Foster Youth and Animals

The honor will be presented to her by Kathy Bates during during the 36th annual Colleagues spring luncheon at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills on May 8.

In 2015, Swank founded the Hilaroo Foundation, a nonprofit with a mission born from her deep love for animals and commitment to supporting at-risk youth by fostering healing and growth. One of the nonprofit’s core programs is the Hilaroo Camp, a summer session hosted by FosterAll that benefits 100 foster youth in Los Angeles. Swank’s vision is to expand Hilaroo one day with a dedicated facility that goes beyond the camp-style outing to support youth and help animals find forever homes.
