Hilarie Burton Teases ‘One Tree Hill’ Sequel Series & Why “Female Teamwork Is Vital To Me”
Hilarie Burton Morgan is sharing a tease on the One Tree Hill sequel series in the works at Netflix.
Hilarie BurtonKristina Bumphrey / Getty Images Deadline reported last month that Burton Morgan and Sophia Bush are set to executive produce the series and reprise their Peyton Sawyer and Brook Davis roles, respectively. In telling the next chapter of this story, Burton Morgan said she wanted to work with a team led by females. Burton Morgan teased that her new perspective in life “affects how you tell stories” and influenced the new series and that she wants to put out there now “are very different than they were when I was 20.”
