Hilaria Baldwin Says She Doesn’t Want Her Children to ‘Bear the Burden’ of Rust Shooting Case: ‘It's Extraordinarily Difficult'


Alec Baldwin and his wife Hilaria Baldwin are opening up about the impact of the 'Rust' shooting case on their family. The mom of seven hopes that her children don't have to "bear the burden" of having to carry them emotionally through the tough situation.

On the premiere episode of TLC's The Baldwins, the yoga instructor, 41, described the toll the Saturday Night Live star's, 66, then- upcoming trial was taking on her family. The actor, who faced up to 18 months in prison, was holding a prop gun when it discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring writer-director Joel Souza(who recovered from his injuries). The couple, who tied the knot in 2012, shares three daughters, Carmen Gabriela, 11, María Lucía Victoria, 3, and Ilaria Catalina Irena, 2, as well as four sons Rafael Thomas, 9, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 8, Romeo Alejandro David, 6, and Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, 4.
