Hilaria Baldwin Reveals the Heartbreaking Question Daughter Carmen, 11, Asked Dad Alec Baldwin Ahead of His Rust Trial
The Baldwins have been very vocal about how the 'Rust' trial has impacted their family of nine. On this week's episode of 'The Baldwins,' Hilaria Baldwin shared that when Alec Baldwin was first tried for involuntary manslaughter in the 'Rust' case, their 11-year-old daughter Carmen was devastated.
Hilaria and Alec share seven kids: daughters Ilaria Catalina Irena, 2, María Lucía Victoria, 3, Carmen Gabriela, and sons Eduardo "Edu" Pao Lucas, 4. On Oct. 27, 2021, Alec was holding a prop gun on the New Mexico set of the Western when it discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring writer-director Joel Souza. He was later indicted for involuntary manslaughter and stood trial in July, where the judge dismissed the case with prejudice after Alec’s lawyers argued that the prosecutors withheld evidence.
