HGTV star accused of ‘striking’ school staff member with Porsche after cutting student pickup line
The Kansas City native is accused of "striking" a Platte County staff member on the leg with her car after he asked her not to cut the line of parents waiting to pick up their children.
(KCTV) - School pickup lines can be notoriously unpleasant affairs, but one Kansas City-area parent is facing a misdemeanor charge for her alleged conduct during one last August. According to court documents filed by the Platte County Prosecutor’s Office, Jennifer Bertrand of Weatherby Lake, Missouri, is facing one second-degree harassment charge and a warrant has been issued for her arrest. The victim alleged that while he was directing traffic, he saw a black Porsche sedan “cut through the car rider line, nearly striking another vehicle as it was attempting to leave the parking lot,” the probable cause document stated.
