Heroes eyes yet another reboot with original creator Tim Kring entitled Heroes: Eclipsed with 'familiar villains' teased
Nearly 20 years after it debuted - and the same week that a total solar eclipse fascinated viewers across America - a new reboot of Heroes is being developed.
Among the show's breakout stars were Hayden Panettiere as Claire Bennet, a Texas cheerleader who can regenerate, making her virtually indestructible, and Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura, a mild-mannered office worker who can manipulate space and time. The show also proved to be the breakout role for Zachary Quinto, who played the villainous Cylar and Milo Ventimiglia as nurse Peter Petrelli, who can mimic others' abilities.
