Cabello sat down for an interview with Power 106 Los Angeles’ Brown Bag Mornings crew, where she revealed that “something happened with [Carti’s] plane,” which nearly caused him to miss the Nicolas Mendez-directed video shoot entirely. She also reflected on exploring the rare human connection she has to select individuals, which makes her feel like she’s in “outer space,” while realizing that pace isn’t sustainable and she’ll eventually get burned out. “Certain things in our human realm do make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times where I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them,” she previously said in a statement about the track’s inspiration.
