Taylor Swift ‘s first show back on the Eras Tour Thursday (May 9) featured multiple surprises as she debuted several new numbers from The Tortured Poets Department, including what appeared to be a subtle tribute to boyfriend Travis Kelce. While performing “So High School” for the first time ever at La Defense Arena in Paris, the pop star joined her backup dancers on a set piece designed to look like bleachers (perhaps the ones at Arrowhead Stadium, where Swift was a mainstay during the 2023-24 NFL season to support the tight end). “So High School” is one of two tracks on the extended anthology version of Tortured Poets Department that fans believe is about Kelce, along with “The Alchemy.” On the latter, she makes references to football games and sings, “Beer sticking to the floor, cheers chanted ’cause they said/ There was no chance trying to be the greatest in the league/ Where’s the trophy?
