The 2024 MTV Video Awards will return to New York on Tuesday, Sept. 10. That's just four days shy of the 40th anniversary of the inaugural VMAs.
That’s just four days shy of the 40th anniversary of the inaugural VMAs at Radio City Music Hall, where Madonna stole the show with a performance of “Like a Virgin” that people are still talking about. UBS Arena will be the sixth venue in New York to host the VMAs, following Radio City (12 times), The Palladium (once), the Metropolitan Opera House (twice), Barclay’s Center (twice) and Madison Square Garden (once). “Celebrating one of music’s biggest nights with the incredible, robust New York area fans is something we’ve been looking forward to since the moment last year’s show ended.”
