She was seen filming scenes for the drama in Hertfordshire alongside co-star Celia Imrie, who stood out in a red knitted hat for her role as ex-nurse Joyce Meadowcroft. The former Pointless co-presenter’s debut novel, set in the Coopers Chase Retirement Village in the fictional town of Fairhaven, Kent, was a hit release in 2020 and he has since written three more books in the series.
