Heartbroken Zoe Ball announces death of her mum just weeks after sharing cancer diagnosis: ‘We are bereft without you’

Zoe Ball has confirmed the death of her beloved mum Julia, just weeks after her cancer diagnosis was shared.

Radio 2 star Zoe, 53, shared last month how Julia has been “incredibly brave” in “extremely tough times”. She continued: “Thank you for teaching us how to love unconditionally, to always show courage and empathy, and how, even in the darkest of days, laughter is the greatest of gifts. Meanwhile someone else urged Zoe: ‘What a terrible time … as the saying goes – the greater the love the deeper the pain… Hold onto the wonderful joy she brought.”
