Amanda Holden has broken her silence with a sweet message of support for her Heart Radio co-star Jamie Theakston after he confirmed that he had been diagnosed with cancer
Sharing news of his cancer diagnosis, Jamie wrote in an emotional statement on Instagram: "Hi folks, as you know - I recently had an operation to remove a lesion from my vocal chords. After fans pointed out his voice sounded unusual two weeks earlier, the beloved radio host underwent a health check-up which led to the discovery of a lesion on his vocal chords. Reality TV personality Mel Schilling from Married at First Sight added her support and penned: "Sending all my love and cancer-kicking strength Jamie," while Strictly famed Oti Mabuse wished him a prompt return to health: "Get well soon."
