Heartbreaking moment Edwina Bartholomew pays tribute to Sunrise star after his sudden death: 'Every day'


Edwina Bartholomew has delivered a heartbreaking tribute to her fellow Sunrise colleague who tragically died earlier this year.

As they wrapped up the in memoriam, Edwina mentioned a loss that was 'close to home': Sunrise reporter Nathan Templeton, who died in April aged 44 after suffering a medical episode while walking his dog. 'Nathan Templeton spent the last 12 years with us at Channel Seven, bringing humour and heart to every single story he covered,' she said in a voiceover while a montage of clips played of the Seven star. Channel Seven's managing director of sport, Lewis Martin, emailed the newsroom on Wednesday morning to advise staff of Templeton's death.
