Hear SZA’s Intimate Cover of Eminem’s ‘Lose Yourself’
SZA released a cover version of Eminem's 2002 hit "Lose Yourself."
The cover sees SZA crooning the lyrics over a piano backdrop, transforming Eminem’s hard-hitting rap lines into soulful vocals. The cover arrived at the same time as Eminem’s new single, “Houdini.” The song is the first listen off his forthcoming LP, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace), which is due out this summer. The singer initially released SOS in 2022, earning nine Grammy nods and winning three of the awards, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Progressive R&B Album, and Best R&B Song.
