Angel Olsen, Lucinda Williams, Rosanne Cash, Rufus Wainwright, and more contribute covers to The Power of the Heart: A Tribute to Lou Reed, out on Record Store Day, April 20 Arriving a day before what would have been Reed’s 82nd birthday, Richards also shared a new video of studio footage from the recording of his rendition, which puts his trademark Rolling Stones riffage on the Velvet Underground & Nico track. Angel Olsen, Lucinda Williams, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Bobby Rush, Rosanne Cash, and many more also contribute covers to The Power of the Heart: A Tribute to Lou Reed, which the label Light in the Attic will release on Record Store Day, April 20.
