HBO’s ‘Harry Potter’ Series Opens Casting Call for Harry, Ron and Hermione: ‘We Are Committed to Inclusive, Diverse Casting’

HBO has opened a casting call for the stars of its upcoming "Harry Potter" TV series to play Harry, Ron and Hermione.

Fans spotted the casting call circulating online Monday, and HBO confirmed its authenticity to Variety. “For every role, please submit qualified performers, without regard to ethnicity, sex, disability, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other basis protected by law unless otherwise specifically indicated.” The second self tape is “a short video telling us a bit about yourself, including your date of birth, height and where you live.
