Hayden Panettiere Prays Brother Is 'In a Beautiful Place' After His Death
Hayden Panettiere shared an emotional tribute to her brother, Jansen Panettiere, on the second anniversary of his death
Jansen, a child actor who costarred with Hayden in Tiger Cruise and Racing Stripes, died in February 2023 at age 28 from aortic valve complications from an enlarged heart. “I just ballooned out,” Hayden, 35, told People on Wednesday, September 18, about rapid weight gain she experienced from the “stress and cortisol” going through her body. “Jansen’s heart could be seen in his eyes, and his charm in his brilliant, engaging smile; his soul in his masterful and revealing paintings, and the joy of life in his dry wit,” Hayden and her parents said in a statement at the time.
