Hayden Christensen Prefers Playing Anakin’s “More Heroic Side” In ‘Ahsoka’
Hayden Christensen is happy to be back in the Star Wars universe, as long as he doesn't have to go back over to the Dark Side.
After first playing the pre-Darth Vader role in 2002’s Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and 2005’s Revenge of the Sith, Christensen reprised Anakin for the 2022 Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi, reuniting with Ewan McGregor. In 2023, the actor returned to the role again in Ahsoka, which sees Anakin serving as Jedi Master to the titular Padawan, portrayed by Ariana Greenblatt and Rosario Dawson. The show is set before the events of Revenge of the Sith, which ends with Anakin’s transformation into Darth Vader after being severely injured in a lightsaber duel with Obi-Wan.
