Despite much-needed stability on the horizon, the pair now seem more apart than ever, sparking speculation whether or not they are actually still together.
Indeed, they holiday apart, Lindsey no longer wears her engagement ring and they haven’t referenced each other on social media since June last year, shortly after a Facebook post by the Yale-educated playwright in which told of “a tough week, yet so much love” accompanied by a scattering of heart emojis, which prompted a family friend to reach out and reassure her that she was “the full package”. But perhaps most tellingly of all, they no longer follow each other on Instagram, a platform especially used by Lindsey to previously document their travels, love of dogs and even saluting Ralf’s popularly in the UK, once jokingly comparing the Royle Family star to Beyoncé alongside snaps of the actor on front covers of TV magazines promoting his work on Death in Paradise. Lindsey is currently in the UK working on her latest play The Artist, which is due to start at The Theatre Royal Plymouth next month, and she revealed on Facebook this week she is living in central London while attending rehearsals nearby, but there was no reference of Ralf, who has been in the capital on breaks from his nationwide Two Pints podcast tour with close pal and former co-star Will Mellor.
