Harvey Weinstein Diagnosed With Bone Marrow Cancer
Harvey Weinstein, who was convicted of sex offenses in Los Angeles and New York, has reportedly been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer.
The disgraced mogul is receiving treatment for bone marrow cancer, NBC and ABC News reported The American Cancer Society states that chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a type of cancer that develops in the blood-forming cells of the bone marrow and invades the blood, and that 15 percent of leukemias in adults are CML. Weinstein’s 2020 conviction was overturned in April, after an appeals court ruled that the judge who oversaw the first trial should not have allowed testimony from accusers who weren’t part of the case.
