Disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein has reportedly been diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia and is allegedly receiving treatment as he awaits a retrial
Harvey's legal healthcare representative Craig Rothfeld told NBC News: "Out of respect for Mr. Weinstein's privacy, we will offer no further comment." Despite his deteriorating health and recent emergency heart surgery, Harvey showed no emotion as he appeared in a Manhattan courtroom in a wheelchair to discuss the retrial date. Last month, Harvey was taken to Bellevue Hospital for open heart surgery following his lawyer's urgent plea to Rikers Island officials, warning that he could "die on your watch if you don't do something."
