Harry Potter and Doctor Who star Simon Fisher-Becker dies aged 63 as tributes pour in


Actor Simon Fisher-Becker, who played The Fat Friar in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Dorium Maldovar in Doctor Who, has died at the age of 63, it has been confirmed

His agent, Kim Barry from Jaffrey Management, shared a heartfelt statement: "Today I lost not only a client in Simon Fisher-Becker, but a close personal friend of 15 years standing. Simon Fisher-Becker, who starred in Harry Potter and Doctor Who, has died, aged 63Simon's husband, Tony, also shared his heartbreak in a Facebook post on Saturday, writing: "Hello everyone. Remembered for his portrayal of the Master of the House in the Oscar-winning Les Miserables, Simon also graced the screen as the blue-skinned intergalactic trader, Dorium Maldovar, alongside Matt Smith in Doctor Who.
