The British star, 36, has said the actress, 82, who played Professor Sprout, 'doesn't understand' the impact of the books on people's lives.

And now actress Jessie Cave, who played Lavender Brown in the seven-part adaptation of JK Rowling ’s novels, has hit back at her co-star’s ‘terrible’ derogatory comments about adult fans. Speaking at a Harry Potter convention in Paris last weekend alongside seven other castmates including Rupert Grint and Matthew Lewis, Ms Cave spoke out about the BAFTA Award-winning actress’s comments.
