In the upcoming Captain America: Brave New World set for release in 2025, Ford will take over the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross from the late William Hurt. The brief footage from the movie revealed at CinemaCon recently showcased Ford in top form as he tries to recruit Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson to help rebuild the Avengers. Ford has already signed on to reprise his role as Ross for the Thunderbolts movie, which is currently slated to hit theaters two months after Captain America: New World Order.
