Harrison Ford Requested to Be Shirtless for This Specific Shrinking Scene, Recalls Creator Bill Lawrence


Bill Lawrence, co-creator of Apple TV+'s 'Shrinking', told PEOPLE at the Writers Guild Awards on Feb. 15 that Harrison Ford requested to be shirtless for a shaving scene and that he needed ‘10 minutes to do some push-ups’ before filming it.

Bill Lawrence, co-creator of Apple TV+'s Shrinking, told PEOPLE at the Writers Guild Awards on Saturday, Feb. 15, at Edison Ballroom in New York City that the actor, 82, requested to be shirtless for a scene they filmed. Ford, in one of his first main television roles, plays senior therapist Dr. Paul Rhoades, who works at the same center as Jimmy. Speaking to PEOPLE in an exclusive interview timed to season 2, Ford said he’s taking his character’s journey "deadly f---ing seriously" despite the show’s comedic nature.
