Hannah Waddingham reveals how she thinks she got pregnant at 40 with her daughter Kitty after being told she wasn't able to have children
The actress, 50, recalled how being told about her infertility was something she never expected to hear, before revealing how she eventually got pregnant.
Kitty has Henoch-Schonlein purpura (HSP), a condition that affects young children and involves swelling of small blood vessels, and can often lead to kidney issues. The Sex Education actress had been filming Krypton for Warner Bros. Television in Belfast when she received the terrifying phone call informing her of her daughter's diagnosis. She explained that she was reluctant to audition for Ted Lasso, even though filming was near her home, but did so after being persuaded by her team and quickly fell in love with the role of Rebecca Welton.
