During the Tuesday, April 29, episode of the hit Hulu series, June ( Elisabeth Moss) and Moira ( Samira Wiley) were rescued by Commander Lawrence ( Bradley Whitford), but t heir plan to escape wasn’t that easy. Based on Margaret Atwood’s novel of the same name, The Handmaid’s Tale takes place in a dystopian future where low fertility rates have led women to be assigned to men for bearing children. Executive producer Warren Littlefield teased that the show’s finale “really satisfying,” sharing, “Living in the world of Gilead for our audience is sometimes a tough journey.
