HANA’s ‘ROSE’ Debuts at No. 1 on Japan Hot 100, Sakanaction’s ‘Shintakarajima’ Re-Enters After Four Years
HANA's “ROSE” blasts in at No. 1 on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, on the chart released April 9.
“Shintakarajima,” the band’s hit from 2019, has re-entered the Japan Hot 100 for the first time in about 4 years and 10 months, with streams up to 101% compared to the previous week, radio to 239%, and video to 104%. Meanwhile, as songs about cherry blossoms continue to climb the charts, Aimyon’s “Sakura ga Furu Yoru wa” re-enters after a year with streams gaining by 111%, radio by 308%, karaoke by 107%, and video also showing increase from the week before. The Billboard Japan Hot 100 combines physical and digital sales, audio streams, radio airplay, video views and karaoke data.
