Halsey Unveils Emotionally Raw Acoustic Single ‘The End’: Stream It Now
Halsey dropped the emotional acoustic ballad 'The End' on Tuesday (June 4) as part of the launch of her upcoming untitled fifth album.
Accompanied by just an acoustic guitar, it opens with Halsey singing, “Every couple of years now, a doctor says I’m sick/ Pulls out a brand new bag of tricks/ And then they lay it on me/ And at first, it was my brain, then a skeleton in pain/ And I don’t like to complain, but I’m saying sorry.” The song arrives shortly after fans noticed a mysterious website, ForMyLastTrick.com, which features a number of vintage-looking stickers with different phrases including “Master Mystifier,” “You Won’t Find Me Here,” “Southern Belle,” “Candy” and more.
