Halsey went all out in their planning: they dyed their hair blue, kicked Joe Jonas off the guest list, and scrapped an appearance from a child choir singer performing “Hallelujah.” Come to find out, they didn’t actually need to do any of it. The musician will be joined on select dates by Del Water Gap, the Warning, Evanescence, Alvvays, Hope Tala, Sir Chloe, Royel Otis, Flowerovlove, Magdalena Bay, and Alemeda. “There’s a constant tension between the playful wit in the music and the sluggish gloom of the vocals,” Rolling Stone ‘s Rob Sheffield wrote in a review of the record.
