In setting out to sample Britney Spears ‘ “Lucky” in a new song, Halsey had some good fortune of her own when it came to getting the elder pop star’s approval. The revelation comes one day after the MaXXXine star announced that “Lucky,” the first official single off her upcoming album, will arrive July 26. The three-time Grammy nominee also seemed to hint that she plans on hitting the road after the album’s release while addressing a fan who asked, “is a tour realistic for this era?”
