Hallmark+’s First-Ever Holiday Series ‘Holidazed’ Is Bland but Comforting: TV Review
Sit in a picturesque town, Hallmark+'s first-ever holiday series "Holidazed" is a perfect mix of cozy themes and characters.
When Ted Lin (Osric Chau) brings his fiancé Marcus (Shawn Ahmed) home to his parents’ house, his mom, Lois (Sharon Crandall), father, Steve (Stanley Jung), and sister, Ella (Jasmine Chen), welcome them with open arms anticipating blissful days of wedding planning and quality time. Finally, though Sheriff Nora Jacobs (Erin Cahill) and her young son Theo (Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez) are eagerly anticipating the annual ornament decorating competition, they don’t expect to get a helping hand from the slightly douchey Josh Hill (Ian Harding), an acclaimed architect who is making a pitstop in his hometown before moving abroad. The entire series has Hallmark’s quaint touch, characters of various racial backgrounds and unique family structures, all living and thriving together in an idyllic North American town (filmed in British Columbia).
