Hallie Jackson has been named anchor of the Sunday broadcast of "NBC Nightly News"
She is a natural fit to anchor our flagship newscast on Sundays,” said Janelle Rodriguez, NBC News’ executive vice president of programming, in a statement. In February 2020, Jackson co-moderated the NBC News and MSNBC Democratic presidential debate in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prior to joining NBC News, Jackson worked for Hearst Television in Washington, D.C, providing daily coverage of political and national events for its 26 affiliates.
