Lionsgate just showed off its recently added 2024 fall release, Alexandre Aja’s Never Let Go, a freaky tale about a mother, her fraternal twins who have never gone beyond their forested environs: Whenever they leave the cabin, they are bounded by rope as they venture into the scary woods. “It was a creepy environment that I had never seen before,” said Berry who reteams with the studio that notched her a Best Actress Oscar win for Monster’s Ball. Lionsgate Motion Picture Chair Adam Fogelson asked the actress about drawing on her instincts as mother for the role.
