Thrown at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on Saturday, the glittering awards show welcomed an impressive array of top-flight luminaries from all walks of showbiz to be celebrated for their work.
Naturi Noughton draped her hourglass frame in a deep gold frock, while John Boyega channeled a retro detective in oversized pinstripes and Octavia Spencer put a jazzy spin on corporate style in a sparkly trouser suit. Sheryl Lee Ralph of Abbott Elementary opted for mermaid chic in a fluttering green mesh number, Deon Cole plumped for a quirkily short-sleeved suit and Tichina Arnold wore a look that plunged to hint at her svelte midriff. Eva Marcille rocked a cutoff top that emphasized her lithe frame, MC Lyte cut a leggy figure in an asymmetric wine-colored look and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor lent herself an aristocratic air in an extravagant cape.
