In the music video for her latest single, “In Your Hands,” the Grammy-nominated singer and actress cradles her son as she belts out the moving ballad. “Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo,” she wrote in the caption of an Instagram post at the time. At the 2024 NAACP Image Awards, Halle took home the outstanding ensemble cast in a motion picture award alongside her Color Purple castmates, including Taraji P. Henson, Fantasia Barrino and 2024 Oscar nominee Danielle Brooks (best actress in a supporting role).
