Ariana Grande praised Halle Bailey's "Hampstead" cover, calling the performance "so beautiful."
On a video posted to Instagram of the Little Mermaid actress singing the emotional ballad in a recording studio and accompanying herself on guitar, the pop star wrote Thursday (April 10), “so beautiful” along with three hearts and a teary-eyed emoji. In the clip, Bailey expertly strums along while expressively singing Grande’s reflective lyrics, her voice sounding crystal clear as she adds her own custom riffs to the original melody.
