Halle Bailey Granted Temporary Custody of Son After Getting Restraining Order Against DDG
Halle Bailey was granted temporary physical and legal custody of her son with DDG amid abuse allegations against the rapper.
The “Angel” singer’s petition for custody was filed in the wake of her also being granted a temporary restraining order against DDG, which requires him to stay more than 100 yards away from both mother and son through June 4, which is when the former couple’s next court hearing is scheduled. Meanwhile, DDG accused Bailey of keeping baby Halo away from him back in March via his single “Don’t Take My Son.” At the time, he claimed via a Twitch livestream that he actively wanted to avoid going to court, as a legal proceeding “makes everything more messy than what it is.” According to a different set of court documents obtained by Billboard, the singer alleged that DDG’s physical abuse started at the beginning of this year, during an altercation while dropping Halo off in his care.
