Haley Joel Osment Ordered to 3 AA Meetings Per Week After Public Intoxication Arrest
Haley Joel Osment granted one-year diversion after arrest on charges of public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance at a ski lodge.
People reports that Osment faced an arraignment due to his April 8 arrest at a Mammoth Lakes, California ski lodge on charges of alleged public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance. The judge also ordered Osment to meet with his therapist at least twice a week for the next six months and obey all laws as a part of a one-year diversion the Sixth Sense star requested. Per People, the Mono County district attorney unsuccessfully objected to Osment’s diversion request citing his prior DUI conviction from 2006, and the actor’s use of an antisemetic slur against a police officer while being arrested, captured via body cam.
