House Democrats, and Jeffries in particular, have faced a dizzying array of advice on how to respond to Trump as he works to dismantle the federal government and as Republicans look to extend their 2017 tax legislation. But Democrats likely have a solid shot at retaking the House next year, what with the slim GOP majority and the traditional midterm losses of the party in power.
